The white nail trend has been floating around and was very popular last year, and personally I loved them. Although, I haven't tried the trend out a lot of times I think it makes for the perfect neutral. As I recall last summer and even spring of 2013, white nails were a very popular trend especially seen across the blogging and YouTube beauty guru world.
Polish without a top coat (2 coats) (I could probably do 1 coat if I was in a hurry to run out the door) (my nails are also quite short, I prefer them longer, but decided to cut them down)
To finish it off I applied my all time fave top coat, seche vite dry fast top coat.
My N(ail)O(utfit)(of)T(he)D(ay) is a white polish, blanc by Essie. This Essie nail polish is a crisp, gleaming and I find it to have to be the perfect shade of white. I love the shade and I also love the consistency of Blanc. Essie polishes are known to vary in formula/consistency, some good and some not as good (but I love the colour's non the less). This is one of the good one's for sure. It is definitely a good polish. I am a fan of Essie polishes and have been for a while now. I can tell this will be one of my most worn nail polishes this summer, summer 2k14.
